This Week in Travel: Vol.21

There are so many travel blogs & publications I read on a daily basis! Wanted to share some of my favorite links, articles, info graphics and tips from around the web this week.

• I love this, I ALWAYS look up what type of plane I’ll be riding on. (I use SeatGuru)
• You’ll be hearing my take on this Wonderful Wine Island Paradise very soon, but I enjoyed seeing someone else’s perspective!
• How GORGEOUS are these vintage travel photos? If this book wasn’t $400, it’d be on its way to my house.
• WHY DON’T MORE AIRPORTS DO THIS?
• Proof that we’re living in the future.
• Love these travel hacks! Never thought of #1, embarrassingly I’ve done #2 (with a snowboarding jacket), and I LIVE by #4, #5, and #10!
• Know what you’re getting into by choosing “Economy Plus” style seating on a flight. What you’re getting for how much cash.
• Eye Candy Alert: 12 gorgeous streets around Europe.
• Interesting article on travel selfies. Personal opinion? I’ve done them when traveling solo, but always tried to swap with other solo travelers when possible (“Can I take that for you? And would you mind taking one for me?”). Also, my new solution to taking photos with nobody around!
• Advisory if you’re traveling to Mexico anytime soon.
• I still really want to go to Maine.

Apologizing once again for the silent treatment – after two weeks in NZ, I had less than a week to finish up details for a photo shoot in central Texas, and was down there all of last week! I’m staying put for a while, so expect a New Zealand overhaul with info about what we did, what we ate, drank, packing list, and some helpful tips we learned along the way…with an annoying number of photos (I promise they’re worth looking at!)

Hope everyone is enjoying their spring so far, we can’t complain with some cooler, sunny days in Nashville – I’ll take it! It will be boiling hot before you know it 🙂
